One of my favorite things is to get to know the women, men and children whom I photograph better. Discovering deeper levels of their personalities, preferences and tastes are the things that adds the joys to life 🙂
A fabulous high school senior girl whom I have photographed recently, Eva, has agreed to be informally interviewed by me and here are her answers. Hope it give you a deeper insight into this already gorgeous girl!
- What is your favorite piece of clothing or fashion piece that you own?
My favorite clothing store is probably Forever21. It’s pretty cheap so I can buy more clothes when I go there compared to all the more expensive stores!
- What are your favorite clothing stores to shop at?
My favorite clothing piece is probably my pink prom dress! Whenever I wear it I feel like a princess so I love it! When I wore it at prom, I went out to dinner and I saw this sweet little girl who looked about 5. She kept pointing at me, and when I waved to her, she hid behind her Mom like a kid would when they meet a Disney princess at Disneyland. It made me feel so happy!
- What is your definition of TRUE BEAUTY?
I believe beauty is completely being yourself. Beauty is those moments when you forget about all your worries and you forget about what people are gonna think and you just feel on top of the world, like you never want to die. I believe that beauty is when someone finally loves themselves as much as they love the people they care about most. When people reach that point of confidence, they just glow, and it’s so heartwarming to see people that comfortable in their own skin.
- What is your FAVORITE senior memory so far?
My favorite senior memory happened during the summer going into my senior year. I got to travel to seven countries around Europe in two weeks, performing in 5 of them. This trip was the first one I had ever done without my family, and it really opened my eyes to see the beauty in the world. I got to experience different cultures and met so many different types of people. Traveling is my favorite thing in the world and this trip made me realize how much I love experiencing different ways of life in other countries.
- Name THREE things on your bucket list?
Three things on my bucket list include: 1. Going to a floating lights festival. 2. Going on an adventure in Greece. 3. Saving a life.
- Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
In 5-10 years, I see myself traveling the world. I want to experience as many cultures as I can before I die. I also see myself traveling and helping people too. I don’t know exactly what that means yet, but I think it would be amazing to become a doctor who travels and provides healthcare to people who can’t afford it in third world countries. I want to help and bring joy to as many people as I can.
Thanks, Eva, it was awesome getting to know your heart a little better. I wish you all the best in your life ahead of you. Go and make the changes you were born to make! xox
