Hi Senior! Ask yourself: Do you want to be photographed by an expert or by someone with average skills and commitment?
I am not talking about choosing between an expert or amateur photographer. I am referring to someone who photographs high school seniors as the main focus of their photography business. If that is the case, you are more than likely going to get someone who not only understands photography, but one who understands and is passionate about young people your age. It is that connection you are going for. If you feel understood, and you feel the photographer “gets” what you value, what you are going through and how to make you feel incredible as a high school senior, don’t you think you will get photos and memories that will have a depth, meaning and significance to them unlike any average experience? You bet that will be the case!
Someone being an amazing family or baby photographer doesn’t mean that they are equally as good at photographing seniors (although they might be!). That is why it is so important to ask to see a full session and really look at their port folio before making your decision.
Remember, the aim is for you to hire a photographer who is an expert and knows how to help you look and feel your best.
